Fruit & Nut Crispy Bars

Servings: 48 bars
 
Ingredients:
4 cups crisp rice cereal
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup chopped candied cherries
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup butter or margarine, cut up
30 large marshmallows
 
1. Measure cereal, apricots, cherries and nuts; set aside.
2. Butter a 12" x 7" baking dish.
3. Place butter or margarine and marshmallows in a 4 quart bowl.
4. Microwave on HIGH for 1:30 or until melted.
5. Stir to blend.
6. Quickly stir in cereal, fruits and nuts.
7. With buttered fingers, press gently into bakish dish.
8. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
