Stuffed Mushrooms

Servings: 4

Ingredients:
Cheese Stuffing or Spinach Stuffing
12 fresh mushrooms, 1 1/2 inches in diameter
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon lemon juice

1. Prepare stuffing and set aside.
2. Remove stems from mushrooms and reserve for another use.
3. Wash mushrooms and pay dry on paper towel.
4. Place butter or margarine in a custard cup.
5. Microwave on HIGH for 0:45 or until melted.
6. Stir in lemon juice.
7. Dip mushrooms in butter mixture.
8. Arrange mushrooms in a circle in a 12" round platter baking dish.
9. Top mushrooms with stuffing.
10. Garnish as directed in appropriate stuffing recipe.
11. Microwave mushrooms on HIGH for 4:00-5:00 or until heated through, giving the dish a half turn once.
12. Remove any smaller mushrooms as soon as they are cooked and continue microwaving remaining mushrooms.
13. Let spinach stuffed appetizers stand 1:00 before servinig.
