Homemade Granola

Servings: 3 cups
 
Ingredients:
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons sunflower kernels
2 tablespoons wheat germ
2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup snipped dried figs
 
1. In a 10" x 6" baking dish, combine oats, coconut, pecans, sunflower kernels, wheat germ and dry milk powder.
2. Toss to mix well.
3. Drizzle honey and oil over cereal mixture, tossing until well coated.
4. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH for 4:00-5:00, stirring four times.
5. Stir in raisins and figs.
6. Cool, stirring occasionally.
7. Store in airtight containers.
