Honey-Glazed Carrots

Ingredients:
1 pound(3 cups, sliced) carrots
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
dash of ground cinnamon
 
  1. Wash, trim and pare carrots.
  2. Slice carrots 1/2 inch thick.
  3. In a 1 quart casserole dish, combine carrots and water.
  4. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 10:00-12:00 or until tender, stirring once.
  5. Lete stand, covered for 2:00.
  6. Drain carrots and return to casserole.
  7. Stir in butter or margarine and cinnamon.
  8. Drizzle with honey.
  9. Mix gently.
10. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 0:30.
11. Sprinkle with pecans.
