White Sauce - Thick

Servings: 2 1/2 cups
 
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
 
1. Place butter or margarine in a 4 cup glass measuring cup.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 1:00 or until melted.
3. Blend in flour and pepper to a smooth paster.
4. Microwave on HIGH for 0:30.
5. Whisk in milk.
6. Microwave on HIGH for 5:00-6:00 or until thickened and bubbly, whisking three times.
7. Sauce should be thickened and smooth.
